JUST WHAT IS WETCLEANING ANYWAY?
Wetcleaning is not
washing. The only common thread running between these two
processes is water.
Wetcleaning means
cleaning garments in a water solution under very closely
controlled conditions. We use computerized machines to
monitor wash speed, duration, direction and extraction speed and
timing. Of course, drying is very controlled and monitored so as
to avoid shrinkage.
The
special soaps we use cannot be purchased in stores as they are
formulated for the professional cleaning and laundry industry.
OUR POLICY ON DRY CLEANING vs WETCLEANING: To Dry Clean? Wetclean? Wash?
It is our goal to return the
garment to our customer in a "as close to new"
condition as possible. We will not use a process which is
contrary to the manufacturer's care instructions unless we have
asked and received permission from the customer to do so.
We shall, therefore, use our
best professional judgment , within the constraints of the
manufacturer's care label, type of stain, time available and the
wishes of the customer in determining the best method of care for
a particular garment at a given time.
